Homeschool
Dear Mother,
We welcome your child(ren) to the homeschool class of Oasis Bible Studies. They are precious in God’s sight and in ours, and we strive to give them the best possible love and care we can. In order to provide a safe and enjoyable time for all children, we ask you to take note of the following items:
- Should your child not feel well, or have a cold, please make other arrangements for them that day.
- Please mark all belongings with your child’s name: bag, jacket, cup, etc.
- The children enjoy outdoor recess as weather permits. Please be sure your child is wearing comfortable clothes and shoes for outdoor play. There are hooks in the children’s classrooms for you to hang your child’s coat.
- Our childcare helpers will receive your children beginning at 9:00am. When you arrive, take your child(ren) to their appropriate rooms first so you are free to enjoy your morning.
- The children will receive snacks in the middle of the morning. If your child brings a water bottle from home, it should contain only water or a clear liquid. Please do not take any food or drink from the breakfast buffet into the children’s area.
- In case of a fire alarm sounding: Evacuate the building through the nearest exit. Caregivers will guide children safely out of the building to reunite with their mothers at the outdoor pavilion area.
- Remind your child(ren) to be courteous when in the company of adults: i.e. opening doors for women, patiently following an elderly woman up the stairs or going through doors.
- At the end of the morning, promptly pick up your child(ren) immediately after class so our caregivers may be released. We know you love to catch up with friends and trust you can do so with active kids at your side. Please supervise your child(ren) both IN the building and OUTSIDE in the parking lot as we are guests at the church.
Thank you for the blessing and privilege of working with your children. We are always open to ways we can improve the children’s ministry through your suggestions. Any questions about the nursery or children’s ministry may be directed to our program supervisor, Anna Beiler (717-808-9917; anna.beiler83@gmail.com).
